Rajasthan NEET PG is the state-level admission process through which postgraduate medical seats are allotted in medical colleges across Rajasthan. Eligible candidates can secure admission into MD, MS, PG Diploma, and other postgraduate medical courses provided by government and private medical colleges in the state. The counselling ensures that the available postgraduate medical seats are distributed in a transparent manner among qualified candidates. Rajasthan NEET PG is an important opportunity for MBBS graduates who want to continue their medical education and get a specialisation. The process generally includes registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and final admission to the allotted college.
Eligibility Criteria for Rajasthan NEET PG
Rajasthan has separate rules for state quota seats (50% in government colleges).
1. Educational Qualification
You must have an MBBS degree or a Provisional Pass Certificate from a medical college that is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Rajasthan NEET PG Seat Matrix
The Rajasthan NEET PG seat matrix provides detailed information about the number of postgraduate medical seats available in different medical colleges across the state. It includes seats in government medical colleges, private medical colleges, and deemed universities located in Rajasthan.
The seat matrix is released before the counselling process begins. It helps candidates understand how many seats are available for each course and category. Seats are generally divided into various quotas, such as state quota seats, management quota seats, and sometimes NRI quota seats in private institutions. The seat matrix also categorises seats based on specialisation, such as MD Medicine, MS Surgery, MD Pediatrics, MD Radiology, and many others. Candidates should carefully analyse the seat matrix before filling their choices because it gives a clear idea about the availability of seats and competition in different courses.
